Donna M. Dushek

LODI - Donna M. Dushek, age 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, September 26, 2024.

Donna was born on May 2, 1932, in Minot, ND, the daughter of the late Ludwig and Freeda (Robbins) Gehring. She was a 1950 graduate of Garrison High School in ND. On May 16, 1954, she married William Crossland and together they moved to Lodi, WI where they began their family. William preceded her in death in 1969. Donna then met and married Ray Dushek on December 2, 1975. Together they enjoyed living in Lodi and each other’s company until he preceded her in death in 1995.

Donna was employed as a secretary of Lodi Methodist Church and involved herself in many activities over the years until her retirement. She also had various interests including bowling, golfing and doing arts and crafts in which she spent numerous weekends away from home selling her beautiful creations.

Donna is survived by her son, William “Bill” (Virginia) Crossland; daughter, Holly Crossland; two grandchildren, Samuel (Christy) and Christopher Crossland; five great-grandchildren, Ayden, Sawyer, Lucas, Hudson, and Brynn; her sister-in-law, Arlene Gehring, and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Gehring; and her sister and brother-in-law Marlene and Mylo Mauntz.

A gathering celebrating Donna’s life will be held at GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 157 S. Main St., Lodi, on Wed., Oct. 9, 2024, from 5 pm until 7 pm. Final resting place will be in Garrison, ND.
