Susan Jane Young

We are heartbroken to hear of Sue's passing. Tim & I met her in Nicky Plaut's yoga class a number of years ago and also enjoyed lunches together and Gallery Night where she displayed her beautiful work, two of which grace the entrance at our office at Scooter Software. It was delightful to see her work displayed at UW Hospital and enjoy the positive effect it had on her many fans and people just passing by. Such a creative, lovely, fun person who will be dearly missed, especially her dry sense of humor!

My sincere condolences to Sue’s family. I became acquainted with Sue thru Virginia Huber’s art workshops and for several years met with her and 3 other artists a couple of times a year. I was so so sorry to hear of her death. Even though I didn’t see her often I considered her a dear friend. I loved her sense of humor, elegance and and we shared a passion for music and dogs. I have been an exercise partner with Sue for the past few years and most lately on Zoom. I loved her wit. especially her reparte' with a previous member, and her fresh, unvarnished look on life. I shall miss her very much and my heart reaches out to her family and friends. Nadine Walsten
