My condolences to John's family . I will always remember him as a friend that i looked up to . He was so much like my Grandpa in every aspect of life from farming , a caretaker of his land and wildlife and hard work . He always greeted me with a big smile and much to talk about . I will always be grateful that he allowed me to hunt ever since i was a youngster growing up with most of the boys. I will miss you John , till we see again . Your friend Jim White .

John was a kind and generous man. Hard working, so smart and could build or fix anything. I learned so much from him through the years. He will be long remembered and forever loved. ❤

Uncle Jack, you were such a wonderful uncle. You held all the babies in your arms and sang so sweetly to them, just like Grandpa did. You sang to my mom when she was dying, and I know that comforted her. You always had the best stories and the biggest laugh. One of my favorite stories was about the goat you had who would steal the cigarettes from your back pocket and eat them. You were my dad’s best friend and he admired you more than anyone in the world. I will miss you. You made it the good ol’ days. Love, Susan Sattell

Uncle Jack was a great man with so much to offer. He made his mark on the world, and he will never be forgotten. His body may be gone, but he lives in each person who was lucky enough to have known him. I will miss his bear hugs... you knew you were loved with just one hug! Heaven gained a very special angel.
