Michael and Leslie, I was so sad to read that Lorraine had passed away. To lose both wonderful parents over a short period of time is so hard. Larry was my dentist for many years starting at his office on Nakoma Road and until he retired. I remember with fondness our family ski trips up north over the Christmas holidays. I had so much fun with The Paper Dolls — Lorraine and Mary Wedeking working as the “paster & book-it” person. So many parties, football gatherings and good times with such a fun group. They were a great couple who loved their kids and grandkids. God Bless! Muriel Krone

Dear Michael and Leslie, My parents called to let me know and I'm so so sorry for the loss of your mom. She always had a big smile on her face and so happy! She was so kind and would talk with me as an equal and not a child and I always appreciated that about her. It's kind of crazy that I probably knew your parents more than I did you both....and I'm so lucky that I did get know them too! I cried when my parents told me and I can't help to cry now as I write this message about your loss, the grandchildren's loss, and all of her friends loss. Take Care, Abby Dunn Bloedorn

I will miss Lorraine so much; not only was she an excellent bridge player, she was also a kind partner. She would always thank her partner when she laid her hand down, no matter how terrible it was. She was always interested in hearing about my garden and wanted to see pictures. She always sent a card for my birthday. May she soar into the heavens. Jean Bawden
