Obituary
COTTAGE GROVE - Wayne K. Galarowicz, age 64, of Cottage Grove, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021. He was born on Sept. 13, 1956, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Joseph Sr. and Adeline (Przepiora) Galarowicz.
Wayne graduated from Monona Grove High School and MATC with a degree in accounting. He married Vicky Mindham on Sept. 29, 1979, in Madison. Wayne was a partner for A & G Accounting.
Wayne enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed cars, especially his Jaguar. Wayne will be remembered for his willingness to help anyone and for his story telling. Most important to Wayne was spending time with his family and friends, especially being a "Papa" to his grandson, Colten J.
Wayne is survived by his wife Vicky; daughter, Amy (Terry Stevens) Galarowicz; son, Kyle (Judy Zeman) Galarowicz ; grandson, Colten Galarowicz; brother, Joseph (Sue) Galarowicz Jr.; two nephews, Scott (Laura) Galarowicz and Phillip (Michelle) Galarowicz; niece, Stephanie Galarowicz; and uncle, Ted Przepiora. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021. Social distancing and face masks are required. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
