Kathy Parent

MADISON - Kathy Ann Parent, age 52, passed away peacefully after a long, courageous battle with cancer on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Aug. 12, 1969, in Madison to David and Joan Parent. Kathy was a 1988 graduate of Mount Horeb High School. She was the proud mother of Justin D. Parent and Joanne K. Parent. Kathy is survived by her parents, David and Joan; her children, Justin and Joanne; brothers, Dan (Kris) Parent and Don (Pam) Parent; special friend, Cris Amidon; nieces, Casie Doescher, Bree Parent, Tabbi Parent and Maci Parent; special cousin, Karla Heller; and aunts, uncles and other cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mildred and Ralph Parent, and Margaret and Albert Nodorft; and her cousin, Kristy Nodorft. Private services will be held. Private burial at White Church Cemetery in Barneveld will follow. Memorials may be made to UW Carbone Cancer Center, Agrace Hospice Care, or the Glut 1 Deficiency Foundation.
