Obituary
STOUGHTON - Karen S. Moy, age 58, of Stoughton, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Sept. 6, 1962, in Champaign, Ill., the daughter of Uraih and Priscilla (Dickson) Davis.
Karen graduated from Madison West High School in 1980. She was later united in marriage to Daniel Moy on Oct. 14, 1989, in Brooklyn. Karen worked as a technician for Hoey Apothacary for five years. She was a state discus champion. Karen enjoyed showing horses and dogs and liked to travel, which included going on a couple of cruises. She especially loved spending time at their home in Sister Bay.
Karen is survived by her husband Dan; son, Tyler Moy; stepdaughter, Erin (Dale) Roberts; granddaughter, Katie Roberts; brother, Uraih Robert Davis III; and sister, Erica (Paul) Snyder. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made in Karen's name to the Dane County Humane Society. The family wishes to thank the staff of Agrace HospiceCare for all of the wonderful care and support given to Karen and her family.

I knew Karen Davis Moy for a long time when my family moved in the neighborhood . Even though her house was on the other side of the block, we managed to make a connection and she along with my brother Steven became good friends. We played a lot together at our place and did other things together. I often wanted to connect with her before she went to hospice but she was often busy and have other reasons but she will always be in my prayers for she was a wonderful lady. I knew her family well for I delivered the Capital Times to them for 5 years. Her parents were wonderful and her brother and her sister Erica were always nice to me. I can only express my sympathy to Uriah and Erica for the loss of their wonderful sister. I also express my sympathy to Karen's other relatives and friends who are in mourning. I plan to adopt a pet from the human society in honor of Karen's memory soon. Karen Davis Moy will always be missed. She is no longer suffering. She is at peace. May Karen Davis Moy rest in peace.

Thanks to Karen, we have been blessed with the companionship of our beloved sheltie, Lexi (originally named Marcy). She is the sweetest dog we could have ever asked for and she has brought us so much joy over the past 8 years. We are so grateful we met Karen.
