John Eugene Kompsie

John was always so welcoming when I would be over visiting. He may have been a man of few words, but for friends of the family, he was unfailingly polite, welcoming, and down to earth. I really enjoyed his dry sense of humor, and I will miss having the chance to run into him at Fat Jacks restaurant or sharing a bite to eat with him when I was over visiting his son. Rest In Peace.

I am so saddened to hear of John's passing. I enjoyed chatting with him and Judy during their trips to Ho Chunk. I will miss seeing you John. To Judy and family you have my deepest sympathy

I am so sorry to hear about Johns passing. As a colleague of his I admired his dedication to work and knowledge of the Mainframe. He was a great colleague and a wonderful co-worker.

Working at ADP and DoIT for over 30 years we could count on John to be a great resource for mainframe problem solving. He was a good listener and explained well to get us beyond a computing bump in the road. His knowledge and commitment was invaluable. Carol Koehler (cmk) from 1976 - 2023

Judy, we were saddened to get a call from Rae Erdahl telling us of John's passing last December. We will contact others who worked with John at the UW. We will plan to see you in July at John's celebration of life. Jim & Sharon Whitney
