William Allen Johnson

Dave and I enjoyed Uncle Bill's unconditional love and support. What a great man and Uncle. Both of my sons benefited from Bill's advice and guidance with college. He will be missed, till we meet again at our eternal home. Love Dave and Jacque!

When I became dean of UW-Stevens Point's College of Letters and Science, someone who should have known better suggested to me that Bill had been in the dean's office too long and should retire. My response to that was that he was THE person in the college who knew where things were and how to get things done. Bill proved me right on that: he was a knowledgeable and supporting assistant when I needed help. I was sad when he retired but am happy that he was there for me when I badly needed his help. I was so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. He gave me my 'big break' at UWSP, giving me a network specialist job that changed my life. I will always remember him for that!

I just wanted to send my condolences to the family. I was the mail woman in Plover. Mr. Johnson always had a smile and a wave. Sad to hear of his passing. Prayers to the family.
