Obituary
MADISON - Clarence J. "Jim" Wasley, age 82, passed away and given his Final Salute on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, at the William S. Middleton Veterans Hospital. He was born on Sept. 2, 1938, to Homer and Evelyn (Reger) Wasley in Linden, Wis.
Jim served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. He worked for over 50 years in the construction field and always gave a helping hand to anyone who needed his help. Jim played softball for many years and enjoyed watching the Packers, Badgers and Brewer games on TV and he never turned down a chance to play a few hands of cards.
Jim is survived by his soul mate, Donna; his beloved daughter, Angela (Jeff) Kuipers; three precious grandsons, Travis Gaus, Zachary Gaus and Quintin Gaus; sister, Jackie (Jim) Heuer; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; dearest daughter, Nancy (Ron) Gibbs; brother, Emery Wasley; and three sisters, Joyce Finley, Betty Long and Carol Wasley.
A private graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020.
