Leigh was a mentor. He took over Lutheran General family practice residency during an interim between chairmen while I was a resident. He was always thoughtful, Socratic and supportive. He was so wonderful I recommended my mother to his care. She loved him and was always shocked when he’d call her at night or on a weekend with a report he’d not gotten to earlier in the day. He just was a complete “old time” physician. He was someone I looked up to, admired and tried to emulate. He is forever enshrined in my brain. Joel Shoolin, DO

Leigh Rosenblum was quite simply a remarkable human being. He was the ultimate mensch. Throughout my parents' life, Leigh was not only their best friend, but a source of guidance, understanding and compassion. He also provided deep emotional support and perspective to me while my parents health deteriorated, even in his 9th decade of life. Leigh was not only my personal doctor for several years, he was someone who always provided unique insight on human nature -- and helped me process and accept my parents inevitable decline. There will never be another person like Leigh Rosenblum. Marc Berman

How sad I was to see this today. Dr. Rosenblum, a prince among men, tended to at least 3 generations of our family. We adored him. We had still been in touch during recent years. He was truly one of a kind. Our family sends its love and condolences to the extended Rosenblum family. He will surely be missed.
RIP, Dr. Rosenblum. Your memory is a blessing.
