Niebuhr, Aaron Scott MADISON - Aaron Scott Niebuhr, age 38, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at his home. He was born on April 15, 1982, in Madison, WI, the son of Wayne and Dawn (Rickey) Niebuhr. Aaron graduated from Madison East High School in 2000. Aaron found peace in walking downtown around the lake, the arboretum, and State St. He also enjoyed sipping on a good scotch or an ice-cold beer. He was a fan of music and it was nothing for his to dissect the meaning to every song. Aaron found joy working on cars, discussing how they worked or a game of cards with his dad. He had a keen fashion sense and would have everything match to perfection from his glasses down to the shoes he wore (even if he was just running to the gas station). Aaron was able to articulate and able to converse with anyone. He enjoyed being honest with people, also helping them in need. Aaron was an intelligent charismatic soul, honest, and always felt so much. His empathy and understanding of people was deep and real. You saw beyond the masks people wore to blend within the social stigmas they followed and called bullshit out. You knew your flaws, your bad habits and you tried so hard to perfect yourself in an imperfect world. Aaron struggled with life, but always had an idea of where he wanted to go. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Your wings were ready but our hearts were not. Aaron is survived by his parents, Wayne and Dawn Niebuhr; sisters, Julie Blum, Lindsey Niebuhr, Angela Bledsoe; brother, Jeff (Terra) Blum; nephews, Jackson and Talan Armstrong; niece, Trinity Niebuhr and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Due to COVID-19, a private gathering will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the family of Aaron to be designated at a later date.
