Dear Ruth, I am sorry for your loss. Vince's old flat mate, Thomas (my father) died in July, and the various times we spoke, you where supportive and understanding to the adjustment of having a lived one live in assisted living. Wishing you care and support, and better days ahead. Tara Olivia

Dr. Fish was the first therapist I saw as a young lesbian (1980-1982). He told me that there was nothing “wrong” with me, but that I’d spend a lot of energy & time fighting to be believed. He was right & I fought & now, I’m fabulous! Thank you, Vince! Rest In Peace. Carrie T.

Vince was first my teacher, then my friend. He helped me stay sane as a new mother and put up with my extremely long path toward becoming a therapist, giving me so much encouragement. He always made me laugh, even when things got so hard for him. Vince had grace, style and humanity. I was lucky to know him. I'm glad he's free of his long illness, but I will miss him a lot. I wish his friends and family love.

I never knew Vince personally. I have had multiple clients the last 3 years that have spoken so highly of Vince and his abilities as a psychotherapist. He certainly had a positive effect on those he has served.
