Timothy Daniel Marquis

Nicki and I are saddened to hear of Tim's passing. We all spent many years together on the job at DILHR/DWD. He was an original member of the Cult of the Hall People (a group of guys hanging out in front of the men's bathroom in GEF1 telling tales). While our paths parted at bit after retirement we always enjoyed "catching up" whenever we did bump into Tim. God rest his soul. John Henning and Nicki McGrew

Several years ago, my daughter Angie was dating Tim's son Sean. Tim, Betty, Angie and I went to Chicago to visit Sean while he was there for one of his medical rotations. I drove my minivan and told Tim and Betty I knew my way around downtown Chicago. Wrong! I drove right into oncoming traffic on a very busy one-way street! The entire vehicle was screaming as I dodged other vehicles. Tim of course never let me forget it and he was provided a fun story to tell. Russ and I are so sad to hear of his passing and many great memories remain. Whenever you'd mention Stephanie or Sean his face would light up and he always had a fun story to tell about his amazing kids. RIP Tim! Brenda and Russ Clifton

"OK then". In that little phrase Tim said a lot, and not much. He was a wonderful colleague and union brother.

My deepest sympathy and prayers to the entire family. Tim was a great guy and although I didn’t know him well, I always had pleasant and upbeat conversations with him when attending various events with the family. Steve Hubbard
