Barbara A. Farwell

COTTAGE GROVE - Barbara A. (Podach) Farwell, age 75, of Cottage Grove, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, at Sylvan Crossing in Fitchburg. She was born on Dec. 30, 1944, in Racine, Wis., the first child of Frank and Dorothy (Nordbye) Podach. The family moved to Stevens Point, where Barbara graduated from Stevens Point High School. Barbara married her soulmate, Donald Farwell on July 23, 1994. She was employed by the State of Wisconsin in the Child Support Division. Barbara is survived by her husband, Donald Farwell; children, Paul (Susan) Maly, Jeannine Stewart, Scott Maly and Julie (Rick Liberson) Buckly; stepchildren, Tracy (Melissa), Kevin (Kathy) and Suzanne Farwell; grandchildren, Tyler and Ashley Stewart; step grandchildren, Abby, Tyler and Corrin Farwell, Johnathan, Elizabeth and Jaykob Dougherty; siblings, Carol Berry, Patricia Nagarski, Marilyn Wiesbrad, Tom, Edward and Robert Podach; and extended-in-laws, Duane (Camella) Farwell, Allen (Sharon) Farwell, Dale (Kathy) Farwell, Virginia Zwickey and Bernice Murray; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Frank Jr. and Janice Podach. Private family services will be held.
