I had many enjoyable conversations with Don along with my father, Harold Wood, and I had some interesting conversations 0as they both played a lot of softball when they were younger and they both served in the Navy. My dad asked about Don nearly every time I visited him at the Veteran's Home in King prior to dad passing. If able I know Don would have been at more Legion functions as I knew it meant a lot to him as he was proud to have served honorably. Thoughts and Prayers to your family. Dennis Wood

Thoughts and prayers go out to the Donald Cushman family during your trying time. Playing ball with Larry for many years and then his boys, Patrick and Joe, along with Larry's wife and boy's mother Mary, their family became very dear to me. To Aunt Mick, Larry, Monica, Julie, Mark, Scott and all your families! Always loved when we go to come out to the house and visit you all! We had to wait for dad to get out and “let Rinny know” we were ok people! Your dad was my godfather and has always had a special place in my heart!
