As the aurora borealis shines tonight may it guide you through the skies. You are forever with me in the mornings over a cup of coffee and sunrise.

Scott (Shamwow) In order to be a good electrician, you have to first be a good problem solver. To be a good pilot, you have to be a good problem solver. To be good at life you have to have passion, To be a good adventurer To be a good husband To be a good son To be a good father To be a good friend you have to have passion. To be a good example of what it is to be a good man, you have to have character. To be a good fighter you have to have tenacity To be a great fighter you have to have it in spades. To be an inspiration on facing insurmountable odds you have to have courage And then more courage, day after day and then when that is drained and gone, you find more courage. Truly an inspiration for all of us. More courage ,more passion, more problem solving ability, more character and more tenacity then I have ever witnessed , is what kept Scott in the fight for so long. He crossed an ocean of time fighting to have one more day, one more adventure, one more milestone to see is granddaughter grow, one more night with his wife, one more flight as the Pilot in command, one more job, one more holiday, one more sunset, He told me on more then one accession that Shaun was his motivation, his light, the pillar he leaned on to draw hope and strength , he said she would not let him feel defeated no matter what happened. Scott taught us the value of the moment. In how it is priceless, non replaceable, and fleeting. Scott was handed a death sentence of one year if he was lucky. That was five years ago. There was no way he was leaving his fate in the hands of luck. And when , round after round he kept coming back for more, fight after fight, They titled him “The Beast”. Giving up was not an option. Scott has shown us how to live as if you were dying. He lived more in the last years of his life then most people due their entire life. Scott has flown west But he left us with the gift of memories. It was easy for Scott to earn his wings, because he already knew how to fly. God speed old buddy.
