Obituary
OREGON - Beverly Ione Reindahl, age 97, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026. She was born on February 7, 1929, to Peter and Alvilda “Allie” Peterson.
Beverly graduated from Woodville High School in 1947. She held various jobs in St. Paul, Minn., and in Woodville, Wis., before meeting the love of her life, Willis “Bill” Reindahl, while he was working in Woodville. Bev and Bill were married on March 3, 1950, in Dubuque, Iowa, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. They lived in Oregon, Wis., their entire married life. Bev did the bookkeeping for the family business and raised their four children.
Bev was very proud of her Norwegian heritage. Her great-great-grandparents on both sides of her family were born in Norway. Celebrating Syttende Mai in Woodville was something she looked forward to every year. It was a time to connect with family that didn't live in the area. She loved her sweets and made rosettes every Christmas for many years to honor that heritage.
Bev went on many trips to casinos with her husband and friends. She would be one of the last ones in the group to play. Meeting up with friends and socializing was a part of who Beverly was. She also enjoyed watching the Packers and Badgers. She loved spending time with her family and would light up whenever they stopped for a visit or called. She spent her last days telling stories and reminiscing. She was a special mom, grandma and friend to many.
Bev is survived by her daughter, Karen Truesdell; daughter-in-law, Robin; granddaughters, Jami (Austin), Amy (Matt), Angela (Bret) and Cheyanna; grandsons, Quinn, Cody (Katie) and Colton (Cierra); great-grandsons, Chance, Louis, Xavier and Logan; great-granddaughters, Ella, Aurora, Adalyne and Alayah; and a great-great-grandson, Rowan. She is further survived by her brother-in-law, Rodney Anthony; sister-in-law, Norma Winch; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; brother, Elton; daughters, Pam Ragan and Zoe Thiessen; son, Rick; grandsons, Scott and Troi; great-granddaughter, Faith; and sisters-in-law, Ruth Anthony and Kay Peterson.
A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Burial will follow at Prairie Mound Cemetery in Oregon. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
