I'm so sorry to read about Dad/Grandpa's passing. We were neighbors for 30+ years. My husband drove truck for 20 of those years and Dad was always willing to help me with house things if something would go wrong. In the winter, he'd help me with the snow. I'd try to pay him and he'd just say make me some cookies. I'd always laugh at him when I'd talk him in July and he'd say I think it's suppose to snow tomorrow. So I'd make cookies. He never cared what kind. He and Mom would always be outside if the weather was nice. My prayers and sympathies are with you.
