I met Ruth about 30 years ago when Nathan entered St Dennis school and he became friends with my son,Nick. The boys both loved baseball and played little league and then at Edgewood High School . We were neighbors on Belmont Road many years. About 20 years ago after we moved, we lost touch with each other. We reconnected this summer and only last month she came for lunch and we visited for a few others. It was like we picked up right where we had left off. I didn’t realize it would be the last visit we had. Our connection was our sons. Nathan was like Nick’s brother. Nathan, I want you to know how much your mom loved you. You and Nick were the topics when we visited last month. You will always feel like a part of our family and I want you to know how much I am sorry for you. I hope your friendship with Nick lasts many more years. Maybe Nick will bring you over to visit sometime! Roxanne and Nick

I met Ruth 9 years ago. She was always kind and caring and made time for others. She’d make a good humored comment here and there and then we’d see her beautiful smile. With COVID I had not seen her since March, so did not see her health fading. I am so sorry she’s gone so quickly. May she rest now in eternal peace.
