Obituary
BLACK EARTH – Susan Gayle Stough, age 62, of Black Earth, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020, at Sauk Prairie Health Care. She was born on April 13, 1958, in Encino, Calif., the daughter of Thomas and Bernice (Angier) Griffin.
Susan graduated with honors from Reseda (California) High School and went on to graduate summa cum laude from Cal State University – Northridge, Calif., with a Liberal Arts major. She
worked as teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District and was also a USC master teacher. Susan enjoyed cats, Bible study, and the movies. She made a practice of donating to the American Cancer Society, the ASPCA, and Wounded Warriors, to name a few.
Susan is survived by her husband of 32 years, Carl; her half-brother, Tim Griffin; and her sister-in-law, Liz (George) Meier. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was my cousin, my beautiful, sweet and caring cousin. I’ve known her all my life and we’ve had wonderful, fun and crazy times together. I miss her dearly. She’s definitely an Angel up there

Susan, such a beautiful soul that left us too soon. You are SO missed. I was looking forward to celebrating the holidays together, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Love you always and God bless.

I didn't know Susan very long but the time I did know her was wonderful. What a sweet woman. She gave me her cat Buster when she moved. Buster and I are best of buds now and we'll never forget Susan and her kind ways. God bless you Susan.
