Peter William Behrens

So sorry to hear of Peter’s death. Thinking back to the rare cousin times we had with the Behrens cousins. It was always special when the Wisconsin family came to visit. Hugs from me. Alfrieda and Merlin Dornbush.

Pete and Ann. That's all I could ever think I of when it came to Flagstads. I use to work at the bank across the street. I can remember some of the great conversations we use to have. If I was bored on my break or lunch hour at work, I would walk over and talk to Pete and Ann. They were about 2 of the nicest people I knew. Pete was always joking around and always good for a good laugh. But always concerned about what was going on with me and my personal life. I have always had a place in my heart for such sweet people . Rest in peace Pete. You will be missed. Enjoy your new life in heave.

I am so sad to loose a good friend since grade school. Peter and I shared so many memories from long ago in a small group of former students at Madison Lutheran School where his father was principal and his mother volunteered in the kitchen for many years. He also helped me choose flowers for my mother's funeral years ago. His love for flowers often showed up in beautiful pictures he often posted on his Facebook page. I will miss Peter. My friend, my mentor of many things...I will miss you! Peter was one of the funniest men I ever knew. He was charming, witty, could make you laugh at the drop of a hat! He understood people, could connect with anyone. His expertise in the floral business he shared with so many, & he taught me well how to make customers happy. He had a naughty side, which was what drew our friendship together. He was kind, a good listener, a hard worker, a blast to take road trips with, but above all he was my friend. Love you friend...and I will see you again one day.

Peter was a light and made me laugh any time I stopped at the Flower Shop. Hadn't seen him in a while but I can still hear his voice and the laughter. You will be missed my friend. See you sometime in the great above!! Hugs Doreen
