There are too many memories to share, thankfully that’s a good thing and a God given blessing I will cherish forever. I was his little pumpkin and I loved him with all my heart! He never judged but would be sure to give his opinion, never complained through all the pain but had his choice words for it, and always kept his heart and door open for me. He knew the true meaning of family! The best gift of all was seeing how much he loved my children, his grand babies. Grandpa Tootsie Roll they call him, because it didn’t matter where we were, he always had a tootsie roll waiting for them. To say our hearts are broken and full at the same time is the best way I can explain our grief. We are lost because he is gone but so grateful for the time we had. I’ll be seeing you Dad and watching for signs from above that you’re still with us in your own way. I can’t wait to hear you say, “Hey Pumpkin,” at the pearly gates of Heaven where we will meet again someday. Watch over the kids and I until then, dance your heart out, drink a nice cold beer, and enjoy being pain free! Love and miss you so much Daddy! Alway your pumpkin! Staci

Kurt and Stacy, So sad to hear of the passing of your father. I worked with Greg for many years at the college. He was the most laid back guy I ever knew, but he sure liked to have a good time. Watched a few Packers games with him, and he would sometimes come out to see my husband's band (even though it wasn't country music) I wish he could of enjoyed a longer retirement with better health. Thank-you Staci for posting the pictures. Donna Swadley

Greg we will deeply miss you. We had lot of great times together especially in the great outdoors hunting and fishing and of course we had to Party some just a tad . Greg also was a great auto body man. He was the go to guy if you had a Chevy pic up.He loved those old Chevy trucks what a guy ! Tried to get him to go to Nashville but he could not put his Fishing pole down . Greg I truly believe there is Nashville in Heaven. Will see ya there. God Bless you will never forget you .
