Obituary

VERONA - Larry Krueger passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 8, 2021. Larry and his wife, Connie, or as he lovingly called her, "My Little Norwegian," are finally back together. Larry enjoyed gardening, fishing, bowling, golfing and playing many card games with his family and friends. After retirement he and Connie loved to visit casinos. Larry worked for the Township of Verona for 36 years and was known for his dedication of clearing the roads day or night. Larry is survived by his daughter, Angela (Greg Lambert) Krueger; grandson, Charles (Stephanie Krueger) Lease; and sister, Pauline Blum of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Connie of 52 years; son, Jay Krueger; sisters, Leona Truax, Charlene Fiedler and Ruth Elmer; brothers, Richard and Bill Krueger; and brother-in-law, William Blum. A celebration of life will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 2950 Chapel Valley Road, Fitchburg, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021. Attendees are asked to wear masks if unvaccinated or immunocompromised. I worked with Larry at the Verona Town Hall back in the early 1980’s…Larry was a hard worker, a friend and if I needed help in the office he would help.. An All Around Good Man… My Condolences to His Family… May his Memories Keep You Smiling and Always Know He and His Little Norwegian are Together Again ✨🌹✨🌹✨watching over you.. ✨Larry will never be forgotten✨
