Always such a pleasure to visit with him.

I met Karl and Illa at the Beach House in McFarland about 15 years ago. They were a joy to watch as they had dinner there almost every night. After Illa passed away a few of us started having breakfast with Karl every Saturday morning. In fact, we had breakfast with Karl last Saturday before he fell. He was in great spirits and was pleased that his physical that week went so well. Attached is a phot of the Breakfast Club.
