I met Gene at the library and we hit it off immediately. I’ve never known anyone who could tell a story about past experiences with so much humor. She found joy in everyday happenings. Two favorite memories were our trip to visit her extended family in New York last fall and seeing Daniel O’Donnell in concert before that. She was a proud Irish woman and dear friend. I will miss her forever. Rest In Peace, dear Gene Marie.
