Paul G. Smoody

MADISON / STOUGHTON - Paul G. Smoody, age 78, of Stoughton, passed away on Monday, Oct. 26, 2020. He was born on July 27, 1942, in Oshkosh, the son of Paul and Irene (Brigham) Smoody. Paul graduated from Appleton High School in 1961. He married Marion Doxtater on May 22, 1989, in Madison. Paul had spent 20 years as a Cab Driver for Union Cab retiring in 2004. In addition, he worked other locations throughout Wisconsin and the Pacific Northwest in various employments. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Parish on Atwood Avenue for many years. Paul liked to read about many topics including Australia, various wildlife, and nautical history. Paul is survived by his wife, Marion; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Carol Salazar and Sandra Jean Gaulke; and his step-father, Al Oskey. Private Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
