Nancy, Dan Manweiler here. Alex was my best friend the moment we moved to Charlottesville. He and I set out every day and though we could only go as far as our legs could take us, somehow we seemed to explore the whole world together. Just being with him made the day go well. I've known few I've enjoyed as much. My siblings Greg Chris and Nancy too share their condolences. My family loved Alex. Truly. Strength to all there who undoubtedly loved him as we did.
