We shared a birthday, he taught me to play chess, we watched the NFL championship game (now called Super bowl 1 or maybe it was 2. I remember that I really looked forward to staying with Jim and Susie when I was young. Good people, both. You were loved and will be remembered and missed greatly. Scott A Nelson

We lost one of the greats, Mike, Brad, Mom, and family you are in my thoughts. Badger Nation may roll on, however we will never be the same.

My Condolences to the family of Jim. He was a fun person to be around, and I enjoyed golfing with him. He always had a smile on his face and was comical. Rest in peace Jim.

Probably some 45-50 years ago, Jim and Johnnie were hosting a new product party for snowmobilers at a bowling center out in Verona to promote a "new" MIRICLE LUBRICANT" for engines. A large group of avid snowmobilers were in the bowling alley drinking and waiting for Jim and John to come in and start their presentation. As Jim and John walked into the room, here they were carrying a small single cylinder Briggs & Stratton engine with a quarter of the engine's crank case removed. During their sales presentation, they started the engine and let it run for 15 to 20 minutes, without any oil except for coating the moving components with this new miracle lubricating oil which held us all in complete amazement. If I remember correctly, it was AMSOIL. I guess they had become area distributers for the oil. Everybody was laughing and commenting on Jim and Johnnies great new oil and of course all of their jovial comments that made the guys laugh while doing their sales pitch. Jim was a class act and he was a good friend and he played a memorable part in the chapters of the lives he touched. Rest in peace ol buddie. We will miss you. My condolences to all of the Dahlk family. May God Bless you all.
