Lori, Tami and families, I’m so sorry for your loss. Your dad was my Sensei (karate instructor). He taught me a lot ... He was a really nice guy...

Our hearts ache for Nan and the girls at the loss of their beloved husband, daddy, grampa, uncle, and brother. Larry and Nan were one of the first couples we met after joining Brooklyn Lutheran Church. They immediately accepted us into their midst and made us feel so at home. Many wonderful nemories were made around their kitchen table, swapping stories and laughing into the wee hours of the night. Never will I forget the twinkle in his eye when he regaled some story meant for shock value, even though we both knew he was pulling our leg. Rest well, dear friend and faithful servant. You have earned a treasured seat tending to all the animals who need your loving care. Perhaps you'll meet my Daddy there and share some stories with him too. You'll recognize him as he has the same twinkle in his eye. We will do our best to check on Nan, Lori, Tami, and the family. They broke the mold the day you were born. We were blessed to call you "dear friend". We love you Larry. Emmi and Brian Peterson
