One of my first memories of Michael is when I moved to Madison, in 2001. I would dog sit for Cynthia and Michael. Michael would always leave me a sandwich for lunch. I still remember how good those sandwiches were! Yes, they were Italian sandwiches with peppers on them. What a wonderful cook Michael was!
Many fun laughs and hot days spent volunteering for the Art Fair on the Square. There was never a dull moment with Michael.
I will miss Michael's wit and wisdom, but not so much his Cub fandom.

One of our favorite things to was to go to a brewers vs cubs game every year for many years. Michael loved his cubs and baseball and so did I. We made a special connection with Michael and we love him dearly. Thanks for wonderful friendship Michael. You are in our hearts forever. Sal & Pat

A man of many talents with a huge heart. In a world filled with people clamoring for the spotlight, Michael’s quiet humility and life perspective was a respite. I will miss our dinners and his humorous quips. Rest In Peace our sweet Michael.
