How I loved my second Mom. Almost every weekend in the summer we were on the sandbar somewhere. She was quite .. the card player. Always had a few choice words for my Dad. Delores was such a no nonsense person but a wonderfully kind loving human being. And I know she was a unbelievable Momna and grandmather. Love you now and for ever Dorie . We will meet again.

Grandma could be a spitfire and had no problem telling me when I was being ridiculous or anyone else for that matter. But she also had a huge heart and she loved and cared with all of it. I miss her so much. Especially her reactions to my big ideas and her cooking. Not many Grandparents would deliver dinner to their grandkid at work every Monday and Tuesday night for the better part of a year but she did. I am blessed to have had her in my life. She is someone I admire greatly.I love you Grandma.

Momma it sure won’t be easy without you but thank you for loving me so much. I hit the mom jackpot, not many are as lucky as me. Enjoy walking again, maybe flying, playing cards and keeping an eye on us. We will be watching for your signs. All my love. Your very sad Diana

Oh Aunt Dory......I can only imagine your joy now that your end of life struggles are behind you. I remember the first time I met you and thought that you had the most beautiful hair (back in the "big hair" days). I loved how you held strong to your convictions and to your faith. And what a wonderful hostess you were when we visited you down in Mississippi. I still have that pumpkin dessert recipe, in your hand writing, that you served us! So glad that you are back with your brothers. Please keep watch over the rest of your family down her until the day we are all together again in God's glory!
