Francis L Jones

OREGON - Francis L. “Bub” Jones, age 83, of Oregon, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, at Oregon Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on Sept. 2, 1938, in Madison, the son of Lester and Anna (Schneider) Jones. Bub loved living the farm life and was able to stay on his farm until December of 2018 when he needed more care. Bub was a very simple man that did not like crowds or to be the center of attention. His trips into town were to pick up livestock feed. Bub is survived by his sisters-in-law, Christine Jones and Debbie Jones; special friend, Christine Holmes; and good friend and neighbor, John Brown. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Anna; a sister, Helen Ryan; and brothers, David "Casey" Jones and John Jones. As per Bub’s wishes, a private family burial was held at Prairie Mound Cemetery in Oregon.
