Bob was a man who could do anything. More than that, and very important to me, he was a great friend to my dad. When I was a teen I remember Bob coming early in the morning each day to begin the day by praying with his pastor, my dad. What a testimony!

My sincere condolences to your families. I worked with Bob at Straight Shot Express. Bob was a wonderful, caring, energetic person who didn't take any lip from anyone!! Bob was a big brother to me and I always looked up to him. I remember how proud our whole family was when he became the very first graduate of Monona Grove High School! Bob and my mom used to love to talk early in the morning over their coffee. He always seemed so tall and handsome to me and to my best friend who had such a crush on him. He could fix anything and always had a curiosity about how things worked. I remember when he had a starter job as a door to door salesman and visited a home that had one of the first "princess phones". Somehow he convinced the homeowner to allow him to take it apart to see how it was put together. He was very persuasive and quite the talker. I will miss you, Bob. I wish I could attend the memorial but unfortunately, I can't. Patsy Ellingson
