I have only known Mary for four years. We played 500 with the Women's Club and at the Senior Center. She had a delightful sense of humor and was fun to be around. She beat me at cards most of the time. How fitting that her good friend, Marge Ferris, died on the same day. She was a lovely person.

I enjoyed being able to attend some cousins lunches with Mary, her sense of humor and laughter will be greatly missed! Such a wonderful lady! My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to the Meier family, Katie and Delores. Much love and hugs, Deb Sweeney

My deepest condolences to the family of Mary Meier. Aunt Mary was one of a kind, so sweet and I will miss her laugh forever. I'm sorry we can't all be together to remember and celebrate Aunt Mary and support her family. But you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I was so blessed to know Mary, she is someone I will never forget, and not someone I planned on saying goodbye to so soon. She had such a kind, sweet, upbeat, positive way about her. She was always quick with a smile, laugh, and willing to try anything I suggested, while at Beehive Homes. I could always count on Mary to be by my side. She was a fountain of youth, she looked younger than she did when I first met her, many years earlier at the Senior Center. She loved her family, her husband, kids, grandkids, and I often told her she had the nicest kids, because she must have been that way to them all their lives. Mary, I hope you are dancing, singing, smiling, and rejoicing to be once again with your husband. I will miss you, but your light remains.

I know Mary as a distant relative, a parish member of Holy Mother from my childhood, and as a welcoming face at Bee Hive when I visited my Dad. I have always found her to be the most enjoyable lady. I loved her never ending smile and witty nature. I know my Dad, John Barger, enjoyed having a cousin to swap stories and exchange humor. I am saddened to hear of her passing. I will miss our chats together.
