Ron was a very special person, near and dear to my heart. We had a long, equally supportive, loving friendship. He helped me so many times when I just couldn't talk to anyone else. I will be forever grateful for his kindness and compation. You will be missed. See you on the otherside my friend.

I knew Ron through Wandering Whittler's, a Thursday night carving group held at Ron's church. He was a good carver and a quiet friend. Last May 30th, 2019, I was talking with a carving friend about being a cancer survivor and about the famous Jeopardy host of Jeopardy, Alex Trebek and his struggles with pancreatic cancer. Ron overheard me and came over and shared that he had had a liver transplant in 2012, 17 years ago at that time. It meant a lot to me that he was comfortable with sharing that with me. Rest in peace, you will be missed and forever in our hearts and memories.

Ron was a special friend to our family. He and my husband, Tom, have been friends since they were kids. They even went into the Navy together. We are so saddened to hear of his passing.

Ron was a great friend and one of the regulars at the 7:00 a.m. gathering at Monona Serenity. I enjoyed his common sense and wisdom. (And we always looked forward to seeing him in the Spring; he was a sign of warm weather coming back!)

Dee and family,
We are thinking of you and your family during this sad time. It’s never a good time to lose a loved one. We hope that you can reflect on special moments and times that you and your family shared with him. May you find peace in knowing that he is with our Heavenly Father.
