Gary was a sweet , kind man. He and Sally had a beautiful bond in their marriage, We received a simple, meaningful card each Christmas which reminded us of their faith in God. Klezmer music, which Gary introduced to Margaret in the '80's, reminds us of Gary every time when we hear it. Rest in Peace.

Sally, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. When we can connect again at the Y pool we will have to set aside coffee, or wine time. I lost my hubby on Thanksgiving day. We new widows can work together to establish a new normal. Thoughts and prayers........Dolores Zeeh

Oh, Sally, we were so saddened to read of Gary's passing. Our sympathy to you. It was always such a pleasure to see you and Gary at different events. I believe he may have been the one who encouraged me to take up tennis quite awhile ago, when we were visiting at the Senior Center . He was such a nice gentleman. These last years I have really grown to admire you as a caregiver. You and he were always so cheerful. Bless you. Lou & Joe Moll

We were so saddened to hear of Gary's passing......yet so thankful that he's now with his Lord in Heaven. Gary was such a wonderful part of Holy Cross; he always had a smile on his face and a pleasant greeting for everyone. He gave so much time to the church, helping out whenever needed. I always enjoyed talking with Gary about his wrestling days at Iowa--especially his story about trying to teach pro football player Alex Karras some wrestling moves when Karras decided to try pro wrestling. Our prayers go out for Gary's family; we know he'll be greatly missed by them and by his church friends as well.
