Lyle P Jensen

I am saddened to see the passing of Lyle, yet, he had a long life, and that warms my heart. To me he was a kindhearted and sincere man. I worked with Lyle for a few years in the Appellate Bureau for the Department of Revenue. As his obituary reads, he was tough. At first that was scary as a young woman in her 20’s but it wasn’t hard to come to love Lyle. He was the lead “cat” with the conferees and I felt he was very well read and respected in his role. He was a “go to” guy. I grew to love his quietness and sincerity and he didn’t often smile, however, I remember the times he did and, to me, you could see the warm heart beneath the toughness. He was always very thoughtful when he would respond to you so you knew he was listening. The picture you have is how I remember him, so thank you. I also appreciated reading more about his life after retirement, he lived his life to the fullest. He was a special person and I am grateful to have known him. My deepest sympathy to the eleven nieces/nephews and families and may your memories bring comfort during this changing time.
