Linus never was too excited when I showed up with my camera but I could get him to laugh and smile for a photo! He was a good sport about it! How sweet it is to have some nice photos of him with Karen. My condolences to Karen as well as Linus' family.

Hello Karen, This is Mary Kay (Wilcox) Kirsner. My grandmother, Rose Warnish was a sister of Linus' mother. We visited Frank and LInus' farm every Sunday growing up as my grandmother who also lived in Madison would go out to cook Frank and Linus Sunday supper. We loved spending time at the farm. It was a real adventure. Frank always showed up at our house for a visit at Christmas time with a bottle of Mogen David and a box of chocolate covered cherries. We were all so fond of him. Linus came to both of my parent's funerals- Glenn Wilcox, and Betty Wilcox. He was such a good guy, and very humble. In reading Linus' obituary I realized that the name Acker is very familiar to me but I do not know any details beyond that. I would appreciate if you could contact me about information for a memorial service for Linus. I live in Des Moines, Iowa but if I'm able, I would really like to attend.
