He was born on Oct. 12, 1943, to Blanche and Earl Wiegert. Raymond went to High School in Kaukauna, Wis. He served in the U.S. Air Force in England for four years. Raymond is survived by his wife, Carol; his sons, Ben (Jen) and Stu; daughter, Amy (Rob); grandchildren, Jack, Nick, and Mya; and his siblings, Dennis (Gina), Steve (Sharon), Gary, Mike (Pam), and Debbie (Fred); and half-siblings, Wendy (Mike), Frank, Allen, Tracy (Dan), Guy, Greg, Jeff (Mary) and Becky (Steve). He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Donna. A celebration of Raymond’s life will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021. My thoughts are with you all, Carol, Ben, Stu and Amy. This is such a sad departure for my favorite tennis and chess opponent. Ray also introduced me to the joys of X-country skiing. So many great memories!!!
