Ruth Ann Swanson

I was very sorry to hear of Ruth Ann's passing. She lived a long and unselfish life. I have memories from 1239 Putnam Avenue of being taken to have Ruth look at bumps and scrapes. She was the Chief Medical Consultant of the neighborhood. May her memory be a blessing. Jill Sarnow Kahn

Ruth was a healer and steadfast friend. I am honored to have known her and see how she loved unconditionally and always cared deeply for all those around her. She will be missed and blessings go out to her family at this difficult time.

My condolences to the Swanson Family. Such a giving woman and great achievements!!! I have many memories of living next door to you on Putnam Avenue. Ruth Ann was the go to neighborhood nurse and took good care of us kids. All the neighborhood kids gathered, til bedtime, to play Red Rover (you had the best backyard for that one), kick the can, Hide and Seek, and whatever creative activity we could come up with!! Ruth Ann would bring yummy homemade cookies out to us!! Paul was a wonderful man also!! I was saddened to read of John's passing. My thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time.
