Stephanie Kay Calkins

It was a great privilege to work with and get to know Stephanie over the last two years. Her courage was incredible and humbling. One of the kindest people I have ever met--and also one of the funniest! I will miss her.

Greeting Stephanie every morning at work at the Front Desk was pure joy. She always had something to share even if it was just a little smile. Even on her bad days she brought joy and encouragement from the Lord. I will greatly miss Stephanie, her laugh, and all she meant to everyone here at InterVarsity. Her testimony of God's faithfulness will not be forgotten.

It was such a pleasure to have been able to work with Stephanie, as brief as it was. She was very warm and encouraging. Her presence is greatly missed. Rest in peace kind, gentle Stephanie and thank you for the brief time that we had together.

Such a sweet, caring, humble and fascinating woman. One of the strongest people I've ever known, and likely will ever. I feel so blessed to have started at InterVarsity on the same day as her, and walk through the last two years together. She's certainly someone that leaves an impact and can change someone's outlook on life and adversity. I will forever cherish the quilt she made my son, and other items when I got married. Stephanie, you're such a gem!

My prayers for peace and grace to all those who knew Stephanie. I only knew her for a brief time, and as I read the comments below, I understand that I missed out on getting to know a wonderful person.
