Obituary
OREGON-Donna Lee Gorney, age 73, of Oregon, passed away on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020, at UW Hospital and Clinics. She was born on Sept. 30, 1946, in Wilmington, Del., the daughter of Roland and Edna (Crooksank) Dick.
Donna was a member of Our Savior Deaf Lutheran Church. She enjoyed going to church, doing word finds and crocheting. She adored her grandson, Sam.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Donna (Gordon) Peterson-Riggs; grandson, Samuel Peterson; son-in-law, Jeff (Tracey) Peterson; brother, Allen (Carol) Dickerson; and sister, Carol McElhaney. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis Gorney; and brother, John Dickerson.
Per Donna's wishes no services will be held. Burial will be held at Gracelawn Cemetery in New Castle, Delaware at a later date.
