Oregon lost a very respected and caring person. As it reads serving the community and others was important to John. He and Darlene made a great team. Michael, I'm so sorry you have lost your parents at your young age. You and family meant a lot to John. I hope you find support from God, family and friends through this difficult time. Michael and Brittany, I am sorry for the loss of your father. You do not know me, nor did your Dad...but we were second cousins. A friend of mine sent me his obituary, recognizing the last name and asked if we were related. I found a family book, and yes we are. It would have been so nice to have met him...I am sorry I did not get the opportunity. It sounds like he was a wonderful person.
