John S. May

MARSHALL - John Sturley May, age 77, of Marshall, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. He was born on July 30, 1942, in DeForest, the son of Sturley “Bud” and Charlotte (Powers) May. John enjoyed woodworking, working around his yard and tending to his vegetable garden. He liked baseball, especially the Brewers. John had a big heart and was always there to help a neighbor or friend. John is survived by his children, Thomas (Chris) May, Greg May, Brian May (Christine Hanson) and Mary Jo May; grandchildren, Shane Liebl, Jackie Liebl, Whitney May, TJ Perfect and Ellie Perfect; brother, Chuck May; sisters, Kathy (Dennis) Grubich, Kay (Tom) Race and Charlene (Richard ) Jantzen; his godson and nephew, Joe Gustafson; significant other, Karen Doughty; and other relatives and friends.
