"Sharing of good music" -- The first thing that comes to my mind whenever my thoughts turn to Ed. I always hear the music of Silverlake Elementary School fourth-grade celebrations. They wouldn't have been the same without Ed's hard work.
We are so sorry for your tragic loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

From Richard Bach in Jonathan Livingston Seagull and your Valedictorian speech " Don't believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation. Look with your understanding. Find out what you already know and you will see the way to fly."
May you fly high like the seagulls over the ocean and the mighty eagles over the mountains .
You are always in my heart..

I remember as young children, what a smart, fun-loving, talented person Eddie was and we all knew he was destined for greatness. My heart is sad at this news, prayers for his family. He was taken far too soon. May God bless and comfort each of you during your time of grief.

Although I knew Dr. Jackson for a brief time as I recently joined the Department of Medical Physics, I am very sad to learn of his passing. From the moment I met him, his compassion and caring for the students, faculty and staff was evident. It was my joy and honor to work with him in medical physics. He will be deeply missed for his leadership and sincere caring for all of us. I hope you find peace in the memories you have of him and joy knowing what a great person he was. With deepest sympathy, Carol Aspinwall
