Obituary

MADISON - Robert Arthur Espeseth, age 86, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, at VA Hospital. He was born on April 9, 1934, in Mount Horeb, the son of Nortie and Mabel (Bakker) Espeseth. He served in the U.S. Army from September of 1956 until September of 1958. Robert married Barbara Kowalski Cain on June 5, 1965, in Houston, Texas. Robert worked as a district sales manager for Panasonic for 20 years. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Lions Sun Prairie, Board of Directors of the Cherokee Condo Association and Elks Lodge No. 410. He loved to golf and going to Badgers and Packers games. In addition, he was a licensed salesperson at Restaino & Assoc. on Madison’s eastside. Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Scott Espeseth; daughter, Kelly (Richard) Glesner; and two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Cole Glesner. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Phillip Espeseth. Private family services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, with the Rev. Mike Brown presiding.
