You will be missed, Greg. I know I hadn't seen you in a while, but I can never make Hamburger Helper without thinking of you. Be at peace.

Greg, we cannot believe we will not see you again this summer around the firepit in Eagle River -- or costuming it up at a cousin's wedding (picture from Claire's attached). Your joy for living brought us many smiles over the years. Your death brings us heartbreak. You were loved.

I went to highschool with Greg and we were friends. I'll never forget all the fun we had and his genuine sweet character. He was a jokester and I can picture him snapping and singing along to songs w an especially high voice for the girl parts. I remember him burping smoke clouds in class and him whipping around in his car in the school parking lot. Last time I saw Greg he was genuinely happy to see me, catch up, and congratulate me on my kids. I'm sad to know we will never have the chance to bump into eachother and have a laugh again. You will be a part of my good memories of growing up and I truly hope you are in a better place where the greens are perfect to play and the skies are sunny all day!! Carley B.

I met Greg freshman year at Lafollette. We had been hanging out ever since doing many things together. He loved going to all kinds of sporting events, watching UFC, watching movies, hanging out at Players Bar, playing NBA2k, and eating good food. He especially loved the tacos at El Pastor. I remember one day he bet me that he could eat 6 of their tacos, well he did and I ended up losing the bet and having to pay for his lunch. We had a golfing bond from high school on that brought us to some pretty nice courses including Erin Hills and Blackwolf Run. We went to several PGA Championships together too. He was such a good friend to so many people. He was caring, helpful, smart and very funny. He was the life of the party wherever he went and knew how to have a good time. My kids loved uncle Greg and he was always interacting with them and they genuinely enjoyed his company and golfing with him. The stories go on forever with him and I am grateful for the 20 years we had together.
We lost another amazing Eastsider. Gone but definitely never forgotten. I hope we meet again someday friend. RIP Homie. Brandon Myhr
