Obituary
STOUGHTON/LOCKPORT, Ill.-Michael Joseph Dovers, age 53, of Stoughton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, at Stoughton Hospital due to complications from diabetes. He was born on March 29, 1966, the son of JB and Mary (Pittman) Dovers. Michael graduated from Lockport Township High School in 1984.
He worked as a graphic designer and loved computers.
Michael was an avid Black Hawks Hockey fan. He also loved food, music and video games.
He is survived by two brothers, Erik A. Dovers and Kristafer M. (Karen Adelman) Dovers-Adelman; niece, Milly Adelman; nephew, Adam Adelman; aunt, Pat (Don) Nolan; cousin, Shane (Jacalyn) Nolan;; and many more cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with Michael's wishes, private family services will be held at a later date.

Sadly I never got to meet Michael in person, but I met him playing EQ2, way too many times staying up late raiding or just grinding away on some quest. Chatting till we should have gone to sleep hours ago. Always something new to do and he was a great friend to be there to lend a hand. An amazing artist with CG and gifted with an eye for the little details in his work. I was blessed to be able to have him make some beautiful art for me, and I was never able to be thankful enough. Its been a while since I last spoke with him, but I always thought about him seeking his art on my pc desktop. Remembering an amazing man and friend, who I will miss greatly.
