Obituary
OREGON - Marijo L. Sandlin, age 76, of Oregon, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at UW Hospital and Clinics. She was born on March 14, 1943, in Madison, the daughter of Lyman and Evelyn (Brewer) Reynolds. Marijo graduated from Oregon High School in 1961. She married Timothy Sandlin in October, 1983 at People's United Methodist Church, Oregon.
Marijo worked in Claims for the Dept of Transportation. Marijo enjoyed collecting dolls, knitting hats for the NICU babies at St. Mary's Hospital, counted cross stitch, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marijo is survived by her husband, Tim; son, Jeff (Tammy) Christensen; grandchildren, Brett (Brianna) Christensen, Miles (Ashley) Christensen, Courtney (Martin) Havens, and Eriq Christensen; great-grandchildren, Michael, Ty, Jason, Skyler, Bryan, Cooper, Hunter, and Emberly; sisters, Laurel (Jerry) Sazama, Dianne Reynolds, and Maureen Reynolds; and brother, Daniel Reynolds, Sr. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Lyman Reynolds, Jr..
A funeral Service will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2020. Burial will be held at Prairie Mound Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Memorials may be made to the Oregon Fire EMS District, 131 Spring Street, Oregon. The family wishes to thank the Oregon EMS and the TLC Unit at University Hospital for all of their wonderful care given to Marijo. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

Marijo - I will always remember all the great times we had while growing up together. I will also remember all the long phone calls we had each time I came to Madison, you were a great friend.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Marijo! I just found out this morning so won't be able to attend the services but please accept my condolences and sending hugs. I have known Marijo all my life and she was such a sweet lady and will be very much missed by all.
